13month girl with infantile spasms treated with senacten on savourily and epilim now. cmv in urine treating with antiviral vanganciclivor. cmv previously attacked sight. No sight yet. Trisomy 21. Small asd reduced to flap size. Anything to help with optic nerve damage?
If the optic nerve damage is due to CMV retinitis then you are already treating him with valganciclovir. This can be administered into the affected eye but depends on the availability of the medicine and the expertise needed for this procedure.
