Suggest Treatment For Infected Milk Duct With Yellow Discharge
I seem to have developed an infected milk duct on my areola. I was able to express some yellow/white discharge and then finally some clear fluid. The pressure and pain seem to be relieved, but want to know if I should follow up with Dr. or is it something I can address at home with OTC medications?
Hello Welcome here. Yellow discharge, pressure and pain in areola are suggestive of some infection. This will spread if not treated with antibiotics. I would suggest you to visit your gynecologist for the treatment. Donot ignore it and donot try any home remedies. Hope this helps. Thanks.
