Suggest Treatment For Infection And Swelling In The Abdomen

Hi my sister having lower abdominal pain and in X ray it is showing that there is blockage between small and large instine .In utrasound it is diagnosned that there is infection and sawalling in abdoman Please advise what kind of desease it is and what is the tratment for this

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, she might be having some underlying subacute obstruction of the gut. CT abdomen as well as oral intake should be reduced to sips only. Surgical review as well as gastroenterologist review may be needed. Tumor markers and abdominal infections should also be ruled out.
