Suggest Treatment For Inflamed Rashes Throughout Body While Treating Epilepsy
hi im tim 27 in aus brisbane. i take a anti convulsive for my epilepsy but i get an allergic reaction witch results in a inflamed red rash all over my body in some situations it scales to, i changed from epillem as it was doing the same thing, in the info i have found and questions iv asked at the companies who produce these products if you get a severe rash they say to stop taking immediately but i cant as i need it. is there a solution and is it destroying my liver and kidneys? iam quite healthy and fit exercise regularly so i look after my body but worried in the long term this may be dangerous. do u have any advice please
There are many of the anti convulsants with rashes as side effect profile like Phenytoin sodium and others. However, there are best alternatives also available with highest efficacy and least chances of skin rashes as compared to Phenytoin such as Lamotrigene and others. Kindly discuss the need of change of molecule rather than stopping the anti convulsant totally which is not advisable and feasible.
