I ve had this problem before and I took Azo , but now I peed out a brown stringy thing ? What s this mean ? I haven t had sex in 6 months before he came back home , so I know I shouldn t have any expected STD s.

Hi,
Your symptoms suggest that you could perhaps be suffering from urethritis. The infection may have caused some bleeding also and this is likely to be the cause of the brownish discharge. You need to have urinalysis, a local examination along with swab tests and a pap smear to locate the source of the infection. Please abstain form further intercourse until the symptoms subside. Maintain proper genital hygiene. Avoid using tampons. You may have to change your mode of contraception if you are allergic to condoms. Hope this helps.
