Suggest Treatment For Inflammation In The Shoulder While Having GERD

I have acid reflux bad..I am medicine for that...also I have inflammation in my right shoulder. I got a cortisone shot two weeks ago. It only helped for a week. They found a bone spur in my right shoulder. Anyways, the Dr. prescribed celebrax for me to take. It make my stomach hurt, and my gerd worse. Is there anything I can take for inflammation that won t upset my stomach? Thanks

Hello,

You can combine ibuprofen or naproxen with a stomach-protecting drug such as omeprazole. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest period of time possible. Consider alternative therapies, including acupuncture, massage, supplements that contain glucosamine sulfate.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
