Yesterday I got out of my car and suddenly it felt like something burned my upper thigh or got stung by a wasp or something . I didn t see an insect ,but it stung pretty bad! I don t have any sting marks on my leg , but it burns /aches still today. I may be imagining it but I can see veins there I never noticed showing before

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Use cool compresses on the area and use a topical antibiotic cream to prevent infection and keep the area protected.
If it gets very red hot and forms pus then you need to see a doctor for an antibiotic.
Regards
