General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would recommend you to just use the treatment the doctor has already given you and try to not scratch or poke the area where the lesion is. With time, the lesion should resolve, just make sure you do not irritate it.
You will need to keep it from sun exposure and you may need to use sunblock with an SPF 30+ to protect it from being over pigmented.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
