I have no problem going to sleep at night, but I have trouble staying asleep. I wake up 2 - 3 times a night. 1 - 3 times per week I wake up with a horrible headache around my right temple area. My neurologist says it is migraine headaches and I take Rizatriptan for this. The headache normally subsides in a few hours. My question is: why do I always wake up with these horrible headaches? I rarely have a headache in the day time, just when I wake up in the morning.
