Suggest Treatment For Intense Bladder Pain Caused Due To The Stone
I have a kidney stone (3 mm) that has passed to my bladder. This was quite painful. Confirmed by c-scan earlier today. What level of pain can be expected on the final passage out of the bladder through the urethra with this size stone and what can be done to help the final passage and minimize the discomfort or pain? Thanks for any recommendations you can make.
Hi & Welcome. Stones up to 8 mm can pass spontaneously through the urine. However, what you need to do is increase the fluid (water, juice) intake, maintain a good amount of urine out put say 3-4 liters/day. Take antispasmodic tablet such as Dicyclomine as it facilitates in opening the urinary pathways. Hope this will help you.
