Suggest Treatment For Intense Right-sided Pain Below The Rib Cage

I just had a spinal stimulator put in 2 weeks ago. But since then I have been having intense pain in my right side below my rib cage. I even go to the emergency room for a cats can. They did not see anything. My surgeon tells me not to worry. It s it normal ? Could he have irrational my nerves or muscle ? I m in so much pain. Should I go to my primary care to be checked out. Muscle relaxers and pain medicine does not help

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The most possible differential diagnosis will be a gall stone. Gall stone disease typically present with right sided abdominal pain. Consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan to make a diagnosis. Musculoskeletal causes also be ruled out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you all the best.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
