General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Intermittent abdominal pain with back pain is commonly due to UTI, kidney stone, IBS, herniated disc, gastrointestinal disease, etc.

Visit ER, get done physically examined by a GP, Urinalysis (R/E &C/S), CBC, Imaging tests to detect the pathology causing the discomfort.

In the meantime take antacids, PPI's to get rid of any acid reflux. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.

There are certain medical conditions that may make you feel hot like hyperthyroidism, menopause, PCOS, diabetes 1& 2, age, cardiovascular disease, obesity.

Avoid spicy food, caffeine, drinking too little water. Stay well hydrated. Get a thorough medical examination done, get treated at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
