Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
SInce October, I ve had intermittent minor to severe abdominal, low back, and right side pain. I ve been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst, but many people have said right low back pain and side pain should not be happening. This pain usually starts at night when I m sleeping. It is my lower right back right now, but sometimes, it is so severe, my entire abdomen is hurting and I cannot pinpoint where it s originating from. My doctors are not finding the root cause. When I call to explain the pain, they say to take Advil!
Welcome at HCM I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns What is your age? Are diabetic or hypertensive? Any other co morbidity ? Any history of trauma or fever? Have you done your x ray of lumbosacral spine ? The pain might be due to sacroilitis of right hip joint? Have you been assessed for renal stones? In my opinion you should visit a surgeon so that you can be examined and investigated properly. Do take all your documents and investigations with you also the prescriptions too. Meanwhile take rest and use acetaminophen to relieve pain Get well soon Regards Dr saad sultan
