Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Fever In A Child
my daughter is 6 and has down syndrome and a repaired asd. a few days ago she was diagnosed with bronchial pnoemunia she has been on antibiotics an breathing treatments. her fever keeps coming and going but her pulse ox stays around 93 usually it is 98-99. Shoul i have her rechecked
The symptoms of your daughter seem to be related to bronchial pneumonia. I see that you have already taken a treatment with antibiotics to treat the infection. So, I recommend to continue the medication as prescribed by your doctor. I also suggest to use anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to lower the fever.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
