Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Stomach Pain Along With Post Menopausal Bleeding
I am 57 yr old female, in excellent health generally. Have had intermittent pain (twinges, from mild to sharp, increasing frequency) for several months now. Also some minor post menopausal bleeding. Vaginal ultrasounds showed nothing. I thought it might have been ovary related, since the pain felt in the same area as I used to get mid-cycle pain, but ovaries checked out normally. Am scheduled for routine colonoscopy in a couple of weeks. Question - should I ask the gastro to do any other tests while I m under for the colonoscopy? Any other thoughts as to what this could be?

Endometrial biopsy is gold standard of care with junctional involvement of endo cervical and ecto cervical portions as well. Depending upon the type of cellular atypia , hyperplasia or others , one can manage the guidelines of control. Primary relief with tranexemic acid and ethamsylate are recommended from this platform. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
