Suggest Treatment For Iodine Deficiency In A Hypothyroid Person

Hi, In 2 years time my TSH went from 1.6 to 3.05, I have almost every symptom of hypothyroid- and an iodine deficiency (yes- I realize it's not common) - I went to an endocrinologist today- she said I don't have a problem & I should join weight watcher!!! Why don't doctors believe my symptoms & help me???
