Hello,

Sooner your menstruation cycle gets regular, more will be your chances of getting pregnant.

Irregular periods are commonly due to hormonal problems, thyroid malfunction, poly-cystic ovarian disease, stress, emotional problems & excessive weight gain or weight loss or anemia.

You are suggested to visit a gynae, get physically examined & get TSH, T3 T4 done, get treated for hormonal & thyroid problems.

You may have to go through a few blood workouts & USG or CT to rule out any other pathology causing irregular menstruation.

You can take Regestrone (Norethisterone), after consultation with your gynae. It is used to treat the menstrual disorders, abnormal vaginal bleeding in women caused due to hormonal imbalances.

In the meantime, maintain weight as per BMI, eat healthy homemade food rich in iron, calcium, protein, folic acid & minerals.

Stay away from, stress, anxiety & emotional issues. Take adequate sleep & stay well hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
