Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation When Diagnosed With PCOD

i was diagnosed with PCOD a month ago and i have been taking Crisanta since then. I have been bleeding for more than 2 weeks now. Initially it was a dark brownish discharge and last two weeks it was light pink. Somedays the flow was heavy and somedays it was light. Is it something to worry about or normal in this case? I was advised by my doc to take Pause mf for 3 days but that didnt help either.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Usually when Hormonal pill stopped the bleeding should be stopped in a few days.

You have bleeding for two weeks which need further work up in form of ultrasonography pelvis and abdomen along with pelvic examination.

You need to be given Tranexamic tablet to stop bleeding.

I suggest you consult a nearby gynecologist for your detailed evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
