Hii doctor .good afternoon.. I am 18 years old and diagnosed with pcos...since I am unmarried I don t want to conceive but have a problem with period cycle ..doctor have prescribed minesse and ovacare myo to me ..if my periods get regular then will I be able to conceive in future?

Hi,

Minesse will regularize the menstruation. As far as pregnancy is concerned, there are chances of conception. However, percentage varies from women to women.

Some of the methods to increase chances of conception and control symptoms of PCOS -
-Reduce weight
-Metformin will help to decrease insulin resistance and other PCOS symptoms
-Clomiphene Citrate will help in ovulation and will increase chances of conception

In vitro fertilization is the last option in case above measures fails.
