Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation While Having PCOS

Hello. I would definitely appreciate some assistance. I didn t have my period for two whole months, April and May. I had a bit of spotting in between, however, about three weeks ago, May 29th, it became a little more evident. It goes from brown to blood red and it s pretty much ongoing. Not a heavy flow and a few blood clots here and there. I don t know how to make it stop. I want to avoid taking the pill (oral contraceptive) as I get side effects from it. It makes my eye blood read and it can be very worrying. I think it might be clotting in my eyes so I try to stay away. I am 24 years. I ve had trouble with irregular period. I was actually diagnosed with PCOS.

Hi,

I think you need to take contraception pills but you can change brand and can take one with low hormone dosages. Microgynon can work. Also, Metformin can help you. Talk to your doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
