Hi I am 28yr old married womanand I have irregular periods 8th of dec 2015 I had periods I travel to UK and I had unprotected sex with my husband from 18 to 26th December2015 . Suddenly I got periods in31st dec 2015 bleeding is very low like sporting I have loose stool and cramp in lower stomach. Can that be a sign of early pregnancy. I want to conceive. I had a test on 28th dec 2015 it was negative. Was that too early to test?

Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Harshita's Response
Hi,
1. If it is your periods then the bleeding will become heavier as the day passes along with the increase in pain.
2. If the urine pregnancy test at home is negative and still you feel that you are pregnant then you can show up to your gynaecologist for further confirmation.
3. Abdominal cramps and diarrhoea sometimes happens in periods . so need not to be worried.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
