I am an 18 year old female and I ve been having really long and irregular periods. most recently, I have been bleeding since approximately November 20. my family doctor told me there is no immediate health concerns, however it is becoming really annoying and inconvenient. is there anything at all I can do to make it go away?

Welcome to HCM>
Irregular bleeding may be due to a number of causes, like hormonal imbalances on top, any local abnormality in ovaries or uterus.
For this my recommendation to you is to consult a proper gynaecologist and have a thorough examination with an ultrasonogram of abdomen and pelvis with blood tests for hormonal levels and platelet counts. In the view of all these things the actual cause of irregular bleeding can be diagnosed and treated rightly.
I hope this might be of some help.
If you have any query feel free to ask.
Thanks
