Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
You usually have periods every 2 months .. due to irregular ovulation. This time your bleeding though scanty, did not stop.
Are you sexually active ? If so you should get a USG pelvis done to fing probable cause of this prolonged bleeding.. it can be-
- conception with
threatened abortion. , in case it is so .. you need either
hormonal supplementation to stop bleeding & continue
pregnancy ( if it is found viable ) OR evacuation of products of conception. to completely empty the
uterus & stop bleeding.by medicines/ surgery ( whatever is suitable & needful for your health.
- If it is not conception, You will be offered a small course oral contraceptives ( like
Regestrone .) in suitable dose to control the bleeding for two to three cyclical courses . This may solve your problem.
- If it dosen't, hormonal imbalance needs to be investigated & treated with a gynecologist's help.treatments by a gynecologist .
