Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Irregular periods are most commonly due to hormonal imbalance. I suggest you to consult your gynecologist and also get few investigations done which includes day 2 FSH, LH and prolactin. In addition, a pelvic ultrasound can also be done. These investigations will help to find a diagnosis and hence formulate treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
