Suggest Treatment For Irregular Periods And PCOD
Hello doctor, i am 28f married woman. Got pregnant a month post marriage. Terminated it by medications. Started taking femilon and Continued for 2yrs. Stopped ocp 10months back. Ready to conceive but facing problem. In the past few months was having irregular periods, undergone usg, diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. Consulted doctor, prescribed ovacare,duphaston,letrozole 2.5. But seems to be unresponsive. Please give me solution to get pregnant faster. Regards wri.. YYYY@YYYY Ph-0000

The delayed period could be due to hormonal imbalance because of changing of birth control pill. I would suggest waiting for a period. If period will delay by more than 14 days from expected period date, consult the gynecologist for a detailed examination. for investigations of irregular menstruations. You may be asked for hormonal work up like FSH, LH, Oestrogen, Progesterone, Prolactin, etc. Before hormonal checkup, you will be examined internally to find any organic disease like infection or cyst-Ultrasonography also will reveal a good amount of information regarding your internal organs (and even pregnancy also). Avoid stress, take a healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise.
