Hi,
PCOS can be corrected by means of medications. Hormonal preparations are administered like oral contraceptives, which will help to regularise the periods. Also, there is insulin sensitivity, which would affect the ovulation process. It can be overcome by administering metformin. It would take about 6 months for cycles to become normal and ovulation to happen in time.
She may require
follicular study by ultrasound scan to know if the ovulation process is happening normally or not. In case there is problem with ovulation after the cycles returns to normal, she may need ovulation inducing medications such as clomiphene.
Your problem with
asthenozoospermia can be treated with intake of medications containing L-carnitine, CoQ10,
Lipoic acid, Lecithin, Vitamin E, Selenium, L-arginine, Vitamin C and Zinc preparations. This will provide adequate nutrients to sperms to keep them healthy. It would take about 3 to 6 months for your
sperm count and motility to improve.
You can consult an
Infertility specialist for clinical evaluation first and execution of proper treatment. You need regular follow-up with your specialist as advised.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
