Hi doctor. This is Krishnaveni. I am planning for children. I am 26years old. I am having a irregular periods. In October I consult doctor to take suggestions regarding planning. Before that she gave me krimson 35 fo three months. While using those tablets I got my periods regularly. After completion of those tablets I consulted her, he suggests me that wait for another cycle and asked me to come again on the third day of my cycle to take a tube test. But in this month I did not get my periods till now it s already 5days delay. She also Said that if I missed the periods by 5days she asked me to come after 5days ants she told that she will give the tablets to induce missed periods. I think she will give devilry 10mg. Also she told me that she will give me tablets for pregnancy. What should I do now doctor. I am getting pressure from my husband side parents. I am so worried about pregnancy. Please help me doctor.
Following are the cause of irregular period: Hormonal imbalance, an emotional problem like stress, ovarian cyst/PCOS, change in lifestyle and dietary habit, thyroid disorder etc.
I advise you to consult the gynecologist and get the done following investigations: reproductive hormone analysis, thyroid hormone, ovarian follicle study, USG scan etc. Management depends on the cause. The period can be induced by medroxyprogesterone after proper evaluation.
Do regular exercise like walking and medication early in the morning for 45-60 minutes, healthy diet and fresh fruits.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
