Hello,

You have history of IBS and presently you are experiencing trouble in pooping. You are suggested to take plenty of water and hot beverage to feel better. Take antacids and PPIs to ease discomfort. Take laxatives to help easy bowel movement. To get relief from stomach cramps you can take Spasmol (spasmoproxyvon), one SOS when required.

You are suggested to take more liquid diet, fiber rich food, plenty of water and take home made food that is easily digestible. Avoid food that trigger your symptoms. Take plenty of sleep. Avoid taking red meat or any food that takes long to get digested. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
