Suggest Treatment For Irritation In Throat

i am taking prolomet 25 mg since one month. i am 63 years old.. after angioplasty two stents r placed for RCA block.. since then my throat is very irretible.. i am getting cough. but my chest i feel is not having any infection.. how can i get rid of my throat irritability.. so that i can be happy

Hello.
You need a chest x-ray to make sure this isn't pneumonia or a lung tumor.
It may be a problem with gastric acid reflux and a medication like Prilosec or Zantac could help with that.

Finally, a beta blocker medication like prolomet can cause wheezing and coughing so you may need to be on a different medication

You need to discuss all of this with your doctor
