General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have a fungal infection, this would be the most common cause of the itching, redness and white discharge that you noted.

This can be treated by: (1) would need to make sure to clean the area at least twice daily with a mild antiseptic
(2)apply a topical anti fungal cream twice daily eg miconazole, ketoconazole, econazole
This may need to be done for up 2 to 3 weeks in some cases
(3)use a mild topical steroid cream for 3 days to help decrease the itching eg hydrocortisone

I hope this helps
