Dr wasn t sure he thought it was plastic , but still gave antibiotic drops. That drops helped with the itch but my ear is blocked now . What an be the cause . General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

I will suggest that you add ibuprofen to Tylenol for better pain control. These symptoms raise the suspicion of a possible ear infection that may require antibiotics.

Talk to your doctor and get the ear examined as this would be very important to confirm the diagnosis and probably give a script for antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
