epididymis known as
Epididymitis. It is the infection of the part of testicles and needs antibiotics along with antihistamine.
If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you with
Augmentin if not allergic to and Claritin and of course a follow up after a week. You will better soon.
Precautions:
Keep a good hygiene and take plenty of water.
No sex until you get better.
Always use
barrier contraception (condoms) to save yourself from STDs. Also get tested for sexually transmitted diseases. Your
primary care physician will help you to give a script for
TORCH infection screening.
