Suggest Treatment For Itching And Numbness On Hands
I have been doing lots of yard work recently including removing poison ivy from rock wall wearing rubber gloves. I have never gotten poison ivy before...always been immune. All of the sudden I woke up with 20 to 30 callous looking bumps on the palms of my hands. Extremely itchy. Feel harder than poison ivy bumps and haven t opened up yet. Have same appearance as when I wear my tight wedding band that I seem to be allergic too, but, all over the place. What could this be??
You may also have nerve compression problems which were suspected in your prior consultations which must have aggravated, however at what level it varies and needs clinical evaluation, with nerve conduction studies with or without MRI.
It is very common to get such types of numbness and pain in stress and in deep anxiety state, however, to be on safe side, you should consult a doctor and get your cardiac status checked along with other relevant investigations for the causes as mentioned above.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
