Suggest Treatment For Itching And Redness On The Nose

I have had continuous itching and redness on my nose. I thought I had a breakout pimple on nose so I washed it with hydrogen peroxide and put Clearasil on it. It kind of pop but it continues to bleed and hurt and is veryred. I think I had a freckle there so I might of cut into it by mistake?what should I do?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per query you have symptoms of itching and redness on the nose which seems to be due to nasal polyp, allergic rhinitis and furuncle. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply warm compresses to nostril. You should take steam twice a day and do nasal saline rinses. Consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order nasal endoscopy and CT scan along with blood test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics medications along with , anti inflammatory. Doctor may recommend surgery in case of nasal polyp.

apply providone iodine ointment at the areas after washing them with antibacterial soap, try mot to rub and do it gently, also take ofloxacine 200 tablet twice a day for three days
, take good and healthy diet and keep the part cleaned and dry most of the times.
it will be ok nearly within 3,4 days, and some blackening can remain which will take 1 week to 10 days to clear
