Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This probably suggests a a viral respiratory infection. Apply calamine lotion over the rash. Giving an antihistamine will help the itching as well as flu symptoms. You can give Levocetirizine suspension (2.5mg/5ml) for 5 days. Use saline nasal drops to clear nose block. If not getting better in 3 days, fever or breathing difficulty comes or she becomes lethargic and not taking feeds, kindly take her to pediatrician for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
