General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. Clitoris is a very delicate & vascular part of female genitals. The Symptoms suggest infection by fungus (Trichomonia). Avoid itching/scraping the area. Mostly Tab. Metranidazole ,candid vaginal pessaries, candid F cream ( Local use) is given to treat such condition. simultaneous treatment is also to be given to sex partner. gentle cleaning, & application of ointment to clitoris will help to heal your current problem along with vaginal trichomoniasis. Thanks.
