I have in the two previous days been experiencing itchy red eyes and mild headache with no idea as to what could have caused it . I bought Spersallerg eye drops to try and control the itching. Any idea what the cause may be ? I have never experienced this before .

You might be suffering form an allergic conjunctivitis or irritation because of tired eyes if you using computer or laptop for prolonged hours..
For allergic conjunctivitis you need to use anti allergic an d anti inflammatory eye drops as a course.. You can consult an ophthalmologist for a proper advice..
If it is just an irritation, you can try cold compresses and lubricating eye drops..
