Hi,

Most common cause of itching on legs dry skin or bug bite. But, itchy skin without rash commonly may result from dryness of skin. Dryness of skin may be derived from hot or cold weather, low humidity, old age, dehydration, bathing in warm water, medications etc. Itchy skin without rash from dryness of skin is usually mild and harmless. Using of moisturizing lotions, mild corticosteroid cream like hydrocortisone etc., on itchy skin of legs, taking plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration, consuming antihistamines etc., may help to subside your present sufferings.

Other causes that may also cause itchy skin such as poor circulation due to diabetes mellitus, nerves related diseases, kidney problems, liver diseases, thyroid hormone dysfunctions etc. So, if you suffer from itchy skin for long time or bother you, then you should consult your doctor for further evaluations and treatment purposes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
