I noticed a week ago had started itching on my lower back towards my butt and side at work. The bumps grew somewhat and are red when walking or moving they sting and burn if i touch them. What do you think it is? Im somewhat scared because at first thought was bug bite but im not sure what it is and driving me insane trying to find ot on Google and plus it does not look like herpes so.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a fungal infection.
As a first line management you can apply topical antifungals like clotrimazole for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
