Suggest Treatment For Itchy And Red Rash On The Clitoris
Itchiness, redness, red rash on upper vestibule by the clitoris head and upper labia minora above that, the red rash shapes around the vestible and labia minora and if you pull back the skin you can see a formation on tiny white dots sort of connecting together, Im not sure what it is but its been reaccuring for a month or two now and im not really sure what to think about it
Hello and welcome to HCM, Itchiness, formation of red rash on vestibule, clitoris & labia minora can be due to fungal infection. White colored discharge that you are seeing could be due to white colored discharge associated with fungal infection. A clinical assessment will be best to determine the type of lesion. However, till then you can try an anti-fungal ointment locally. Response to an anti-fungal ointment proves the infection is fungal in nature. If no response is observed after using an anti-fungal ointment, then you need to consult your gynecologist. Till the infection is clear, avoid unprotected sex because it can transmit the infection to your partner.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
