Suggest Treatment For Itchy Ankles Along With Skin Discoloration

My ankles look suntanned, the skin is changing slightly and looks a bit shiny, my ankles are slightly edematous, one of my ankles is itchy on the inner side just above the ankle bone. I have been told I have poor venous return. Going to get worse or can I improve the situation?

Hello,

I understand your situation and would explain that these skin changes are related to the chronic venous insufficiency.

They could get worse if you do not hold compression stocks and avoid prolonged standing up position. Physical activity can help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
