Suggest Treatment For Itchy Blisters On The Forearm, Wrist And Palm

I have a series (groups) of small (up to 3/16 inch) blisters on my right forearm right wrist, and (center of ) right palm (never had had any trouble in this area before). They are very itchy although application of hydrocortisone cream relives this symptom to a considerable degree. Resembles poison ivy but I don t think it s present in my area. I believe insect bites (possibly fire ants) could be a cause but I doubt it because I have always noticed the sting of the bite - not in this case.

Anesthesiologist 's  Response
Hi,

Do not use steroid creams at the first instance. Blisters could be some systemic infection. Try to consult a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anusha Molugu, Anesthesiologist
