Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bumps And Abrasions On The Vagina Post Intercourse

Hello, one week ago my boyfriend was visiting and over the course of 4 days we repeatedly had rough sex. I was slightly uncomfortable and swollen afterward but no more than usual. The day after he left I noticed three bumps that looked like small pimples and stupidly tried to pop them. On that day I also had some itching and also apparently scratched some skin off my labia. I m guessing the skin irritation is from the sex, but am unsure of whether to go to an urgent clinic or wait until Monday for a gyno office to open. It s quite painful. My vaginal swelling has not decreased since last week and there appear to be tears and a bump around there too. They do not look anything like warts. The vaginal entrance appears all torn up as well. If anything these all look like pimples and it looks like one whitehead too. Is this from the sex? I have never had anything like this before. Although the swelling is the same, the pain has decreased since the problem started. The discharge does not have an unusual odor.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As the swelling has not decreased and pain is there even after 1 week, I think you should give a visit to gynecologist or a surgeon as there can be a risk of infection. Antibiotics and some decongestant therapy will help healing better.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Loveleen Sharma, General & Family Physician
