Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bumps On The Body

I have had an itchy patch of pinhead-sized bumps about the size of a quarter, only oval in total area on the front of my body just below the right shoulder for about a week. Yesterday I rubbed a benedryl stick over it and applied a bandaid. Later when I looked at it it had become very red for the first time. Today I put polysporin on it and covered it again with a bandaid. It still looks inflamed and the tiny dots are now red. I am a 61-year old female. Any ideas on what this could be?

Hello,

I think you may attach a photo of the rash in reports for me to see the conditions of your skin. You can use Benadryl tablet orally to help with itching. Don't rub it anymore.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
