Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bumps On The Outer Ear
I am a 25 year old male who rarely gets sick and recently developed white head like bumps on the outer ear. It started itching yesterday while the bumps appeared this morning and got worse as the day progressed. I have taken ibuprofen the last couple days to help reduce swelling. I can refrain from itching it on my own but also feel slight pressure near the ear and especially when I eat. Is it ok to use a hot compress on the ear and pop the white bumps to relieve pressure if cleaning them out with rubbing alcohol after? What is the best remedy for clearing these symptoms up?
You are speaking about tiny pimple like white heads as they appear on nose or face. If it is so you may clear it with some pressure with aseptic precautions and then apply some antibiotic cream like soframycin if you are not allergic or may use proprietary preparation for acne. General advice: 1. Don't clean it too hard 2. Refrain from itch and scratch 3. Avoid water entering ear canals
