Suggest Treatment For Itchy Hives On The Neck And Face
Had some Chinese food on Sunday, that evening developed hives on my neck, side of face and around my wedding ring. Hives on finger ( removed rings) now have bubbled up and look full of fluid. Should I see doctor or just continue taking antihistamine and cold compresses
You are allergic to Chinese food material which you have consumed. Allergy occurs when your immune system reacts to a foreign body. Foreign body may medicine like pollen, animal dander, dust, food item and insect venom etc. The severity of allergies varies from person to person and can range from minor rash to anaphylaxis — a potentially life-threatening emergency Advice 1. Avoid Chinese food material which you have consumed. Do not take it future also. 2. Levocetirizine 5 mg once daily per oral for 5 days 3. Dexamethasone 0.5 mg twice daily per oral after meal for 5days 4. You can apply calamine lotion – three times daily 5. You consult doctor if any worsening in symptoms occurs Thanks
