Suggest Treatment For Itchy Patch On The Breast Areola

Hello to all the doctors that read my enquiry. I am a 25 year old black female. I have a patch under my right nipple on my aereola. This patch came about maybe 6 months ago. It did not get bigger, just irritated, itchy, and inflamed. It has now started oozing and bleeding. Ive notice skin is left on my bra at the end of the day. The nipple is NOT being affected however when the patch gets inflamed it pushes the nipple above it. The surrounding breast area also itches. The nipple does not discharge, just the patchy area. I havent tried any creams except eucurin and aveeno. Im trying pure salt and water. I just want to know what this is. Picture is uploaded.

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

As I am not able to see the picture you have uploaded, I suggest you visit a gynecologist as the symptoms you mentioned in your question can be alarming. So better not to waste time and visit a gynecologist for a proper examination and further management. Still, I suggest you go for mammography.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
