Suggest Treatment For Itchy Pimples On The Lower Lip
I have an eruption on the left side of my lower lip, going into the skin beneath. I doesn't itch but it does have little pimples that get scaly. If this is just a cold sore, I'm unfamiliar with them, becuz I never experienced one before. Can u give me some info?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchy pimples on the lower lip which seems to be due to herpesvirus infection leading to formation of cold sore, dehydration and it could be due to inflamed sebaceous gland and excessive exposure to sunlight.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep area clean and avoid using cosmetics. Avoid intake of sharp and spicy food substances. Apply ice for 10-15 minutes 2-4 times a day. Take proper course of antibiotics along with antibiotic ointment. Visit dermatologist once and get complete examination done and start treatment accordingly. Drink plenty of fluids and apply petroleum jelly on it.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
