Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rashes On The Back
Hi, I have red itchy rashes on my back that turned into black patch /scratches after being scratched. I still have some itchy red rashes in the sides, I fear if it goes on increasing on my neck. What is it? is it melisma? how should I treat it? My emailed: YYYY@YYYY

Red itchy rash on back could be due to bed bug bite or some insect bite.
Black or dark discoloration can be due to scratching.
However, the spreading nature of the rash is more suggestive of primary skin lesion rather than insect bite.
The common skin lesions which can cause this kind of rash are - atopic dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, eczema, urticaria etc.
A clinical assessment is required by a dermatologist for clinical assessment of the lesion.
The treatment can be planned after clinical assessment and diagnosis.
