Suggest Treatment For Itchy Red Bumps Under The Breasts
Hello, I just recently spent 3 weeks in a very tropical humid place. Toward the end of my vacation I delevoped what I believe is a heat rash on my stomach and up to the area just under my breasts. They are itchy and there are multiple little red bumps, they bleed if I scratch them too hard. I ve used hydrocortisone cream for two weeks and there has been no change. Is this a heat rash or could it be something else? Never had this before. Thank you for your advice.
You had a history of visiting a humid area. So it could be fungal infection of tinea rather than dermatitis. You can upload photo of lesion so that I can check it and can give further comment. If it is fungal lesion than steroid will not work. For that topical Clotrimazole cream needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
